DescrGLP-1 receptor agonists such as Ozempic and Wegovy are FDA-approved medications used to treat Type 2 diabetes and support medical weight loss. These medications work by mimicking a natural hormone in the body called glucagon-like peptide-1, which helps regulate blood sugar, slow digestion, and signal fullness to the brain.
In simple terms, they help the body feel satisfied sooner, reduce appetite, and improve blood sugar control. For many patients, this combination can be life-changing. For others, careful consideration is important before starting therapy.
How GLP-1 Medications Work
GLP-1 medications:
• Stimulate insulin release when blood sugar is elevated
• Suppress excess glucagon (a hormone that raises blood sugar)
• Slow gastric emptying, helping you feel full longer
• Reduce appetite and decrease “food noise”
• Support pancreatic beta cell functionMost GLP-1 medications are given as a once-weekly injection.
Benefits of GLP-1 Medications
Significant Weight Loss
Many patients experience substantial and sustained weight reduction, often improving blood pressure, cholesterol levels, joint pain, and overall health.Blood Sugar Management
Highly effective at lowering hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) in patients with Type 2 diabetes.Reduced “Food Noise”
Patients frequently report a noticeable reduction in constant cravings and obsessive thoughts about food.Cardiovascular Benefits
Certain GLP-1 medications have been shown to reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke in high-risk individuals.Preservation of Beta Cell Function
These medications help support healthy pancreas function and insulin production over time.Considerations & Limitations
While effective, GLP-1 medications are not without drawbacks.
High Cost & Accessibility
These medications often exceed $1,000 per month and may not be covered by insurance for weight loss.Long-Term Use Required
GLP-1 medications are not typically short-term solutions. Ongoing use is usually necessary to maintain results.Weight Regain After Discontinuation
Stopping the medication commonly leads to the return of appetite and potential weight regain.Muscle Loss
Rapid weight loss can include loss of lean muscle mass if not paired with adequate protein intake and strength training.“Ozempic Face”
Significant weight loss may lead to facial volume loss, resulting in sagging or wrinkled skin.Possible Side Effects
Common Gastrointestinal Effects
Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, bloating, and stomach discomfort are most common, especially when starting treatment or increasing doses.Other Potential Side Effects
Fatigue, dizziness, headache.Injection Site Reactions
Mild redness or irritation at the injection site.Gallbladder Issues
There is an increased risk of gallstones and gallbladder disease with rapid weight loss.Rare but Serious Risks
• Pancreatitis
• Kidney complications
• Gallbladder disease
• Possible increased risk of thyroid C-cell tumorsImportant Safety Information
GLP-1 medications are not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
A thorough medical evaluation is essential before starting treatment. Ongoing monitoring helps manage side effects, adjust dosing appropriately, and ensure safe, effective use.

Desc“Super MIC”, often called MIC B12, is a lipotropic injection formulated to support weight loss, energy production, and liver health. The name comes from its core ingredients:
Methionine
Inositol
Choline
Vitamin B12
Together, these nutrients work like a metabolic support team. Methionine, inositol, and choline help the liver process and transport fats efficiently, while vitamin B12 supports energy production at the cellular level.
Super MIC is typically administered once or twice weekly as part of a structured weight management program.
How Super MIC Works
Lipotropic compounds help the body break down and metabolize fat more efficiently. When paired with proper nutrition and exercise, Super MIC may:
• Support fat metabolism
• Promote energy production
• Enhance liver function
• Assist with mental clarityIt is important to understand that these injections support your efforts. They do not replace healthy habits.

Some patients report better focus and mental clarity during treatment.Considerations
Not a Magic Solution
Super MIC does not “melt” fat independently. Sustainable results require consistent diet and exercise.Cost
Ongoing injections can become costly, particularly as part of a structured program.Requires Consistency
Weekly or bi-weekly injections over several weeks are typically needed to notice measurable results.Limited Long-Term Research
While commonly used in weight management programs, long-term scientific data on lipotropic injections remains limited.Possible Side Effects
Super MIC injections are generally well tolerated, but side effects may include:
Injection Site Reactions
Pain, redness, swelling, itching, or small firm nodules at the injection site.Gastrointestinal Symptoms
Mild nausea or diarrhea.Headache or Dizziness
Some patients report lightheadedness.Rare Adverse Reactions
Allergic reactions such as rash or shortness of breath, anxiety, or numbness in extremities.Withdrawal Effects

The Myers’ Cocktail is an intravenous (IV) vitamin therapy designed to support energy levels, strengthen immunity, and help relieve symptoms associated with fatigue, migraines, asthma, and chronic pain conditions.
This infusion typically contains a blend of:
Vitamin C
B-complex vitamins
Vitamin B12
Magnesium
Calcium
By delivering nutrients directly into the bloodstream, the Myers’ Cocktail bypasses the digestive system, allowing for rapid absorption and immediate availability to the body’s cells.
How It Works
Unlike oral supplements, which must be broken down and absorbed through the gastrointestinal tract, IV therapy provides direct systemic delivery. This method ensures complete bioavailability of nutrients and may be particularly beneficial for individuals with digestive or absorption concerns.
Many patients report feeling refreshed, hydrated, and energized shortly after treatment. Results may be noticeable quickly, though effects can vary from person to person.
Benefits (Pros)
High Absorption
By bypassing digestion, IV therapy provides full nutrient availability, making it ideal for individuals with malabsorption issues.Immune & Energy Support
Commonly used to help combat fatigue, stress, and low energy levels while supporting immune function.Symptom Relief Potential
Some patients report improvement in symptoms related to migraines, fibromyalgia, and acute asthma.Rapid Hydration & Nutrient Delivery
Provides quick replenishment of fluids and essential vitamins, often leading to temporary improvements in overall well-being.Risks & Limitations (Cons)
Limited Scientific Evidence
While widely used in integrative and wellness settings, many claims regarding long-term benefits lack large-scale clinical trial support.Cost
IV vitamin therapy can be expensive and may not be medically necessary for individuals who maintain a balanced diet.Procedural Risks
As with any IV treatment, there are potential risks including bruising, discomfort at the injection site, or infection. Not Appropriate for Everyone
Individuals with severe kidney disease, heart failure, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or certain metabolic disorders may not be suitable candidates.Possible Side Effects
Common & Mild
Warm flushing sensation due to magnesium
Metallic taste in the mouth
Lightheadedness or mild dizziness

Myers’ Cocktail therapy should always be administered by a qualified medical professional. Proper screening is essential to identify underlying health conditions, including kidney or heart concerns and G6PD deficiency, which may affect safety with high-dose vitamin C.
While many patients experience short-term improvements in energy and wellness, IV vitamin therapy should complement, not replace, a comprehensive health plan that includes balanced nutrition, hydration, and appropriate medical care.
A personalized consultation can help determine whether Myers’ Cocktail therapy is appropriate for your individual health goals.Description text goes here
GLP-1 Medication Coverage Disclaimer
GLP-1 medications are FDA-approved and commonly prescribed for the management of certain chronic conditions, including Type 2 diabetes and obesity. However, insurance coverage for GLP-1 medications is often limited, particularly when prescribed for weight management. Many insurance plans do not cover these medications, or require strict prior authorization criteria that may not be met.
For patients without insurance coverage, GLP-1 therapy may still be available through a compounded formulation. Compounded versions are typically offered at approximately one-quarter of the cost of brand-name products. These options may be purchased as individual weekly injections administered in-office or provided in vial form for self-administration, as directed by your healthcare provider.
Compounded medications are prepared by licensed compounding pharmacies and are not FDA-approved in the same manner as commercially manufactured products. Patients should discuss the risks, benefits, and suitability of compounded GLP-1 therapy with a qualified medical professional before initiating treatment.
Weight Loss Medication Program Disclaimer
For patient safety and appropriate medical management, all patients starting weight loss medications are required to have laboratory testing completed within the past three (3) months prior to initiating treatment.
If recent laboratory results are not available at the time of your appointment, laboratory services will be performed in-office before medication can be prescribed. These services are covered by most insurance plans; however, patients are responsible for verifying individual coverage and any applicable copays or deductibles.
The initial appointment will include a comprehensive assessment and evaluation with the provider to determine medical eligibility and establish a treatment plan.
All follow-up visits up to the three-month mark, as well as routine medication injections, will be scheduled as nurse-only visits unless otherwise requested by the patient or deemed medically necessary by the provider.
If a patient requests to see the provider during a scheduled nurse visit, the appointment will be billed as a standard provider visit in addition to the cost of the medication administered.
Participation in the weight loss program indicates acknowledgment and agreement with these policies.
